Concert Review: Dogpark Makes Their Indianapolis Debut With Supporting Act Fai Laci

On July 28, 2026, Dogpark and their supporting act Fai Laci took the stage at Turntable, an intimate and atmospheric 18+ concert venue inconspicuously located in the Indianapolis neighborhood of Broad Ripple.

Fai Laci, an alternative rock band from Boston, Massachusetts, set the energy for the night with an electric performance featuring tracks from their recently released debut album, “Elephant in the Room”, and a cover of The Beatles’ “Come Together”. Frontman and the band’s founder Luke Faillaci possesses an incredibly entertaining and infectious stage presence and exudes a type of charisma that draws you in and doesn't let go. Fai Laci's guitarist Anthony Cervone was a standout of the evening with multiple grooving & rhythmic guitar solos that made the crowd go crazy.

Before the formation Dogpark, I loved the covers Eamon Moore, Dogpark's lead vocalist, posted on TikTok. (I can confirm that I still have videos from 2023 of his covers of Metric’s “Black Sheep” and Elton John’s "Crocodile Rock” saved to my favorites.) This was my first time hearing the group live, and I have to say that Moore has some of the best live vocals I have ever heard. I truly think that if you blindfolded me and asked me to guess whether I’m listening to him live or to a recording, I wouldn’t be able to tell.

The Indianapolis fans were gifted not only with an announcement that a debut album is in the works, but also with a performance of an unreleased, unnamed song from said album. The crowd was lively throughout the night, but the moment that stuck out to me was the energy during Dogpark’s performance of “Breaking in Brooklyn”. You could feel the floor vibrating as if it would cave in from all the jumping, and I could have sworn that every person in that space was singing as loud as they could.

Dogpark has amassed over 900,000 monthly Spotify listeners, played at Lollapalooza, had their song “Caviar” featured in the Amazon Prime original show, Off Campus, and toured before, so one might expect their set at Turntable to come with polished stage banter and perfectly rehearsed introductions. Instead, what I witnessed was a group of musicians who simply love making and sharing music. Between songs, there were moments of hesitation and nervous laughter – the kind that reminded everyone in the room that, despite their success, they’re still just people. They weren’t trying to perform a larger-than-life version of themselves; they just wanted to connect with a room full of people who love the same music they do.
