Last week Ashnikko put on the most incredible and lively performance in Vancouver, British Columbia. Her and her dancers brought the energy to the stage, and the crowd had reciprocated the same. The entire crowd was feeding off of that energy, and were dancing the whole night.
When Ashnikko took the stage, the crowds arose with cheers and screams of excitement. She began her set with “Sticky Fingers” from her most current album. Her vocals carried throughout the theatre, along with the crowd singing along. Thought the set, she sung many songs from her latest album “Smoochies,” along with fan favourites such as “Itty Bitty,” “Slumber Party,” “Manners,” and “Daisy.” From beginning to end, the fans danced, cheered, and sang along all night.
The crowd outfits were so unique, like I’ve never seen before. Ashnikko encourages fans to hand make their fits - in which Vancouver delivered. Every outfit was unique in its own wars, from a girl with a Labubu in her hair, to a skirt made out of keychains.

One fanbase side that really stood out to me was the “Trinket Trade.” Similar to Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour, in which fans made friendship bracelets to trade with each other, Ashnikko encouraged fans to purchase of make small keychains or “Trinkets” for the fans to trade with one another. During the show she had brought out a trinket wall with all of the keychains that fans had given her throughout the tour, and had asked the crowd if any of them had participated that night.
During the show, Ashnikko commented on the venue, The Orpheum Theatre, saying that, “This is how it supposed to enjoy music.” She had referred to a previous night on her tour in Los Angeles, and how the venue was completely flat and it was harder to see the fans. She proceeded to compliment the venue for its structure of how she can see every fan in the crowd, which means all can see her. Ashnikko continued to express her love for The Orpheum by stating that, “It feels haunted.” Personally talking with multiple people, many thought that this venue may not suit her music, but after both of those comments she made, it made me have a greater love for the theatre and felt a perfect fit for her.
