I have been preaching about Greyson Chance since roughly 2010. He was the first CD I purchased at the ripe age of 10 and the first artist I found meaning in my own life with their lyrics. Since 2010, his music has exceeded any expectation I thought he was capable of reaching. Each new release continues to put feelings I didn't know I had into words and this release is no different.

Greyson is back with JOCK PORN, a piano ballad that explores the vulnerability around attraction and gender stereotypes. This single holds a world for Chance where even after exploring the nuances of queer attraction, he still finds himself attracted to the stereotypical 'jock' male.
Often times, LGBTQ+ individuals feel the need to be more introspective in order to understand their queerness and their desires, which in turn, can lead to overthinking every piece of attraction you feel. This single from Chance is a beautiful representation of that feeling of being unsure if you actually feel attraction to a person, or you're just chasing what you assume that you've been conditioned to want.
The production on the song is gorgeous. With a surprising breakdown towards the end of the track, there's never a moment where I felt like I knew what was coming next. Between the intricate instrumentation and the relatable vulnerability in the lyrics, Greyson has once again delivered us a hit.
