After nearly two years away, Savings is back and "Stressed Out" is worth the wait.

The Albuquerque alternative/pop-rock band returns with a track that explodes into bigger hooks and a more polished sound while still holding onto the emotion that's made their music so easy to connect with. It's upbeat enough to get stuck in your head after one listen, but underneath all of that is a song about feeling overwhelmed and trying to find your footing again.
That's what makes "Stressed Out" work so well. The lyrics explore uncertainty and growing pains, but the song never feels weighed down by them. Instead, Savings pairs those emotions with soaring guitars, catchy melodies, and a chorus that practically begs to be screamed back at a live show.

The release also marks a new chapter for the band creatively. After stepping away following their 2024 EP How Do You Feel?, Savings used the time to rediscover what they wanted this project to be instead of chasing trends or constantly feeding the content cycle. That mindset carries into every part of "Stressed Out," from the song itself to the self-produced music video.
Sometimes a break is exactly what a band needs, and "Stressed Out" makes a pretty convincing case for that. If this single is any indication of what's next, Savings have come back sounding more confident than ever.
