Finn Wolfhard Releases Newest Single, 'Tunnels'

Just over a year after the release of his debut solo album Happy Birthday, Finn Wolfhard is back to promote his upcoming sophomore album Fire From The Hip with its second single, 'Tunnels'.

'Tunnels' appears to explore the feeling of your mind closing in on you during periods of anxiety or depression. With lyrics like, "Fireworks in the fog / Cross my line again, I swear you'll mind again," Wolfhard seems to touch on the struggle of having moments of joy clouded by negative thoughts. With both 'Tunnels' and the album's lead single, 'I'll Let You Finish,' focusing on themes of connection and support, relying on those close to you during difficult times could be a recurring theme throughout the record.

Wolfhard has previously spoken about drawing from personal experiences in his songwriting and has discussed living with chronic anxiety, making these themes feel especially authentic.
